Ancient Peaks' Cabernet Sauvignon has helped make Paso Robles a world-class area for this Bordeaux grape. At Margarita Vineyard, four separate Cabernet Sauvignon blocks were used to make this wine. The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon has intense varietal scents of juicy black cherries, along with notes of cedar, pencil shaving, and black olive. On the palate, powerful flavours of black currant, blackberry, and blueberry are revealed, along with hints of cherry, mint, vanilla, and toasted oak. The wine has a rich and multilayered palate. Plump tannins and balanced acidity add length and structure to a deeply integrated finish.
